What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is software that completes recurring tasks on its own. It starts on an event such as a new email or a ticket, gathers the information it needs from your systems and prepares replies, quotes or bookings.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot waits for a question and answers in the chat window. An AI agent starts on its own as soon as something happens and works directly in your systems, for example in the inbox, the CRM or your accounting software. What it may do there, we define together with you beforehand.
